In this 6 hour Zoom workshop with supporting video demonstrations and live teaching, Melissa Shippee will walk you through the creation of your own Enchanted Lightbloom Pendant.
Step into a world of color and illumination with the Enchanted Lightbloom Pendant. In this magical workshop, you’ll create a dazzling beaded flower that truly comes to life—its radiant petals unfolding around a glowing center that lights up from within.
Using richly toned seed and cylinder beads, you’ll learn to shape each petal in precise layers of beadwork, building depth, texture, and graceful movement. The sparkling center conceals a tiny light that can be switched on to make your creation shine like a living bloom—perfect for wearing as a pendant or displaying as a miniature piece of art.
Students will explore techniques including circular peyote, dimensional petal construction, and secure light integration, all with high-quality seed beads, Austrian crystal, and Czech glass.

Supply or your materials or choose from the four kit colorways shown in the images.
This kit contains all the beads you’ll need to create your own Enchanted Lightbloom Pendant. Just supply your preferred beading needles and thread. Size 11 or 12 beading needles and nylon thread are recommended, but fishing line thread works as well.
